I like giving the bezel a twirl or a few once in a while just to hear and feel the clicks. (sorry might be weird am I alone)?

Will it get loose or wear out?
Should it only be used for diving?

Even if you do have problems with it, it can be fixed easily. So enjoy it and spin the bezel if that makes you happy.

I like to rotate the bezels on any of my watches, twice a day.

Yes it will and you will be reported to the Rolex police for moving the bezel from within a cats whisker of the triangle line up point of the 12 O'clock marker.Just joking used mine over many years while underwater with no problems whatsoever.

well , looking at how springs work it wont wear out , maybe the snap fit will become loose , but not for manys a year ... , just enjoy the click.

Eventually, it will wear out. I think the ceramic bezel is more difficult to wear out?

Bezels actually move?! I thought that triangle at the 12 o'clock marker was just to indicate that's the top of the dial!

Go nuts and spin away!!! If it broke, it's a tiny piece of metal that an AD can fix in about one minute. I've been spinning the crap out of mine for well over a decade and it still clicks like a roulette wheel.

It's not a crazy question. I have owned several fairly high end watches which did in fact suffer from using the bezel more than occasionally. Perhaps Rolex has a better, more durable system. I still feel its better to avoid over use.

If took me approx. 8 years to wear out the click spring in my 16610. It's not only that it becomes much easier to spin, but that once it is truly worn out, it will start allowing you to rotate in both directions. Either way, super easy and cheap fix. I too am curious how long it's going to take to wear out the one on my 116610. If anyone has additional info in the engineering of this bezel, I would love to hear or see it.

The key word "too much". I believe applies to everything in excessive use will definitely wear out in due time. ;-p
