HK Trip Report 2012...Lots of pics Modem Burner!!

Recently just came back from my trip to Hong Kong and want to share some photos with all of you. It is a city that never sleeps and a city that is known for the best and freshest seafood in the world. Hong Kong is very tiny but is the densest city in the world. Beyond that, it is known as Rolex capital.... Watch dealers are everywhere. Here you guys go and hope you enjoy!

Here we are....fiance and I waiting in the airport for our 16 hr flight!!

Victoria Harbor:

Lantau Island! Visiting the Big Buddha today:

The freshest seafood in the world in Sai Kung:

Soon becoming our dinner tonight:

Delicious!! Abalone:

Goose!! Hard to find these days.

Construction everywhere!!

Now this is exactly what I'm talking about why HK is simply a WUS heaven!!

Some Vintage cameras too:

Sorry we couldn't connect during your trip to Hong Kong, but looks like you had lots of fun. Any new acquisitions?

Eric, I know...unfortunately our schedules could not meet. But there will always be next time. I didn't make any acquisitions in HK. Didn't really find anything that caught my eye while I was there. Honestly, I did not have that much time to go watch shopping but did see some amazing PP pieces!!

Cedric, my pleasure! I know there are a handful of camera collectors here. In HK there are many as well and there were some very unique vintage cameras in the TST and Mong Kok area.

I see you made it to Union Watch on Kimberly Road. Lots of selection but prices are a bit high.

Glad to see you had a nice trip.

Do drop me a message the next time you're in town.

Cheers,

E.

Yup!! Prices were a bit high. I think all the pieces I saw the prices were a bit high. But great selection and beautiful examples nonetheless. Unfortunately, HK Vintage Watches in Wan Chai were closed the day I went. I really wanted to see their collection. I'll definitely let you know in advance next time I head over again and we will have to meet then!
