Buying Custom Diamond Dial

Saw an old thread on the forum on this topic and thought I'd see if anyone had any new information to add.
I'm looking to buy an aftermarket black dial with diamonds for my ladies SS datejust.
Does anyone have any recommendations of reputable internet sites that sell them?

Recommendation is - don't do it, turns it into a franken-watch. Stick with genuine Rolex diamond dials, not aftermarket. Most of them are easily spotted due to poor workmanship. If you still decide to go this route, keep your original dial so you can switch it back later if you ever decide to sell the watch.

as the poster says above.. don't bother as they are often quite lousy when put under any scrutiny

I disagree with the no aftermarket diamond bezels when it comes to ladies DJs. I say no for other models but I think they look very nice on a ladies watch. My mother has a very high quality aftermarket bezel on her ladies DJ. When it's time for service she just pops the stock bezel back on. They are expensive but don't look out of place at all on a ladies DJ. When she got it Rolex hadn't came out with the diamond bezel on the TT DJ. They recently came out with one but it's $18k. It in no way looks aftermarket or out of place. Honestly we compared it to the new model Rolex has and the watches look almost identical. The new model has a funky dial but moms has a simple champagne dial with battons. Find a quality bezel and I bet you will be very happy.

Edit: I'm an idiot. I thought this said bezel not dial. IMHO stay away from the non Rolex dials. They have made enough diamond dials to get one pretty easily not like the bezels. I need to get off the phone in bed. Lol

It's your watch-- do what you want. There are plenty of OK versions on the market. You might just search ebay to see what is available. Once you find a seller, you can do a bit more research. Some of the more elaborate types have such small diamonds that the difference between good and so-so probably won't matter all that much, as long as they don't fall off.

One thing about getting an aftermarket dial and bezel is that it isn't a big deal to change back.
