My Collection

I was fooling around with my camera today and took the following shots, and thought I would share. You can see the Rolex saphire etching in the first four pictures if you look closely. Enjoy!

Very nice job "catching" that LEC on a WHITE background

Thanks for sharing!

The LEC is so hard to see on my SS White Cos that I have given up cathing it!

When did the etching begin on the Explorer II?

I'm not sure when the etching began on the Explorer II. The one above was purchased in Spring 2007. Don't all sports model Rolexes have it now? (Or maybe even all new Rolexes?) I thought I read that they began rolling it out across all watches several years ago.

Scott, as a fellow camera buff, those pics are SUPERBE! Well done and keep 'em coming. I didn't realise how sexy the explorer could look in white.

Steve this is a great pic and just goes to show how digital hasn't progressed as far it everyone thinks. There are pics of my wedding shot on 5Ds where if you look closely enough you can still see blown highlights (on some of the pics).

Wish I'd never sold my film cameras...

Great pics. Extreame close-ups are the best. They show every detail. Thanks.
