Looking for the individual who purchased my Explorer

I sold a Explorer a couple years ago to an individual in Gulfport, Mississippi. I do not remember his name, but would like to contact him. I know this is strange, but I deleted all messages from him.

Good luck!

The 3rd owner of a vehicle I was the original owner of hunted me down not to long ago to get the provenance. It was worth his time and effort!

Just a shot in the dark, if he PayPal'd you, the info will be in their archive of who sent the money. If Bank Wire, same thing - may have to pay the bank to pull up the wire data, though.

Also, try the shipper if you used Fedex or UPS - they may have a record of the shipment.

Lastly, you never really can eliminate a message - the ISP will have it archived in your ID but may be very difficult to get a copy. If you can remember the date you sold it or just the month they may help you.

Sorry if you already went these routes...just trying to help.

I too got hunted down by a current owner of a car i had sold 3 years earlier, I ignored all attempts and refused any correspondence. I'm only speaking for myself and I don't want to offend the OP but in my mind no good can come from that kind of contact. JMHO

Unless it's a classic car or something, where an owner may have some questions about "this or that". Just move on..

Isn't this the reverse case?

Technically yes, but wouldn't the same suspicion be in play?

I have no problem sharing why I would like to make contact. I sold him this watch face to face . He was very happy with his purchase. He informed me that if I ever needed another Rolex to let him know. He had many contacts in the Gulfport area...not to far from me. He was prior military, and I am current military. We had several things in common. Just had a trust with him, and the fact I would like to spend 5,000 to 6,000 on another watch made me want to deal with this individual.

So he bought from you but now you want to buy from him? Wouldn't he have a contact portal of some kind if he's a watch seller?

I had a 1982 land cruiser that I fixed up, drove forever, then sold. I recently saw it sitting of the side of the road with a for sale sign, $4k. I decided to buy it, but when I called the guy told me he would only sell it to me for $8k, which is what he paid me plus the price of putting a new engine in it right after he bought it. Apparently his experience with it wasn't as great as mine had been.i felt bad, but figure the fact I was trying to buy it shows that Imhad no idea of any problems with it... :-)

So, he would sell it to anyone else for $4,000, but to YOU, for $8,000? I wouldn't feel bad, I'd feel pretty insulted. Have a friend buy it for you.
