Hi Lisa, I have no purse savvy either, but at least you have a green thumb
Hey Jay- maybe there is a Grey Dealer for purses...;
There must be another online selling/buying/trading post in your neck of the woods besides Ebay; In Canada, we have kijiji. Good luck
PS- Would it be appropriate to post a high end purse in this forum's classifieds?
For all the guys here with their amazing rolex collections, there has got to be some wives who aren't into watches, but who would appreciate a LV purse.....

So Lisa,.....are you buying Mike's by the pallet load this summer for those hot afternoons??? Will they deliver???

Btw.....my wife schedules semi-truck loads and the shipping of steel products(bar, tubes and coils) but I'm sure she could get a truck to deliver to you without a problem.....just let me know!!!

I'm not quite sure what I've done to get these nice comments from Lisa.

I'm half expecting Paul to come knocking on my door with a baseball bat.

Carl and Wes, let me share with both of you that we gals like you because you're nice and charming and talented - and you pay attention to us!

Besides, you both dedicated a song to our little baby duck... that was the sweetest gesture ever.

That's much appreciated Lisa (I'm serious), thank you for the kind words!

Adorable! Although I'm more of a dog guy. In fact, when I'm all set with a house and children I'd like to get one of those...

The Rottweiler is a wonderful dog and a very smart breed but I'm thinking he may need too much exercise for what I can give him (although he isn't as bad as the Dobermann, those guys need to run way too much for me). The Bullmastiff, on the other hand, is much calmer but somewhat stubborn.

P.S.: Yes, I did read a whole lot about those babies, they are simply among the sweetest creatures you can find!

Hey Carl, "Rotties" are wonderful dogs! I've had the pleasure of knowing 3 of them, and all were awesome, family loving companions! Also those 3 were really more on the couch potato side of things...you might be OK with one....(not that I'm suggesting you're a couch potato!!!!)
My sister just adopted a Black Lab from the SPCA; That's a great route to go if you're pet searching as well...

Play me some Jazz...Hard bop, Be bop or Jazz/Rock Fusion on a stereo(separates of course-Pre-Amp and two mono-block amps) through a turntable(vinyl-analog)and I'm a happy camper.....I could listen for hours on end and never get tired!!!

Check out Freddie Hubbard's album: Red Clay.......

Carl, I'm definitely a cat person but I did have a friend who showed, bred and raised Rhodesian Ridgebacks and those are some awfully smart dogs but stubborn as well. But very self-confident in their abilities and great temperaments.....

Michelle, Labs are great dogs and companions but they like to run and roam.....my BIL has always had Labs(lives in the country), for hunting, but when they got loose they could roam for two to three days at a time!!!

Aren't they? I've seen dozens of them at my job (along with Dobermans, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bulldogs, Bullmastiffs and a lot of other bully breeds) and they were all lovely and wonderful!

As for the SPCA, it shall be my very first place to visit if I ever decide to get an animal but I'm not ready for that yet! However, I've read enough about dogs to know which breeds would be great for me and which wouldn't be the best.

P.S.: I know Rottweilers aren't that active but if I compare it to the Bullmastiff they are. The Bull is my first choice (for both his temper and the fact that he would be great to fit my life style and my personality).

Ridhebacks are amazing dogs! I know Kaya kept one for a few days or weeks and I have a few customers who have some. However, from what I've seen and read they wouldn't be the best for me yet! I wouldn't get one as a very first dog personally but I'm sure they would be an interesting challenge to raise and they are most probably great pets when properly raised.

(By the way, don't take this paragraph as a I see dogs as objects and I get them for the kick, I'm just trying to get a somewhat realist idea of the domain and although it wouldn't be the first thing I'd have in mind I'm sure they would be interesting to raise and analyze)

I've seen a couple of Labs and the main problem I've seen is that people underestimate them. Like some bully breeds have a dangerous dog reputation they are often seen as big loving boys who will be nice with children. Although this is true for a lot of them they're very energetic and excited dogs and an accident may happen very fast if they're not raised to be careful around kids, something people often forget or don't even know.

Besides that, I find them very good and most of them have a one of a kind temper!

Absolutely right! I STILL remember a date from my college years - Robin was his name. It was late; I really needed to be getting home, but before I did he sat down at the piano and played and sang Dan Fogelberg's "Longer" for me - gazing into my eyes the entire time. I was nothing but a puddle on the floor. That was our only date, though - he was just too crazy, plus he was the buddy of an old boyfriend - not cool to date! Um, in fact, the old boyfriend and I got back together eventually. And we're still together.

Here's another little thing for you guys (boy am I loud tonight...), I was on my computer a few minutes before going upstairs to prepare my pizza for supper (we all make our own and eat it together, quite a nice thing to make if you ask me! ) when I felt a funny sensation on my arm, kind of like a little something moving my arm hair. I took a closer look and found this little baby!

Pictures aren't clear at all but it is a yellow spiderling (the baby of those ugly yellow house spiders you see everywhere), I must admit I found it very cute (I've developped a passion for tarantulas but alas house spiders don't impress me that much...besides that one, that is! ).

Here it is after I let it walk on the wall.

And with the Rolex! After all, it is a watch forum!

...Now my mother is sure I'm crazy!
