Snowflake Non-Date .....
Eventually got this vintage tudor submariner 7016/0 snowflake non-date. Really like the balanced layout of the dial .....

A big future for snow-flakes me-thinks .....
I own a mix of Subs (Rolex and Tudor) but since I went the Tudor way I've never looked back.
In particular, there's something very cool about a snow-flake - they just really stand out from the crowd. That's a great specimen you have there too |

Variations on the 7016/0's ...... warts and all !
For anyone not familiar with old 7016/0's, there were a few dial variations.
Here's a snowflake survivor with its surface of the moon dial. This is from a batch where the dial paint failed. The other one's a different generation dial with regular plots - my daily wearer just now. |

I used to think the SF had the worst dial I'd ever seen but as I get older I realize how wrong I was. It's a true classic!
