As with most other members I too would go for such a deal. Buy the seller and not the watch.

The papers are only good till the warranty. But here it is long expired. Again you will be wearing the watch and make sure it is in all original condition. The watch will appreciate over time anyways. I would not stress over box and papers. Do what feels right.

Box and papers are not required for my part, it's all about the dial, case and hands for me
