Bergeon 6111 to add/remove leather straps?

Hi everyone,

I have an explorer i 214270. Im trying to swap my bracelet out for a leather strap. Is the 6111 the right tool for this? If so, how do i go about tackling this? From what i understand the 6825 is not appropriate for putting on leather straps.

Thanks in advance.
