Lady's DateJust with some Problems

Frankenwatch or Counterfeit?

Date font looks askew. Coronet on dial is damaged.

Watch described as SS, though it has a President bracelet.

Description says that the bracelet is a Jubilee and that the watch is 904L.

You got it Franken I would say complete custom counterfeit dial poor coronet application and with added diamonds, its not even an original Rolex dial plate hence misaligned date window. Aftermarket bezel and fake steel president band. As for the movement who knows. Pretty much rubbish. Imho

Plus if you look at the crown, it has the 'stick' coronet on it. I would say counterfeit before Franken.

Looking at that crown and date font closely either they are both counterfeit replacements also, or this whole watch is fake, however a pawn brokers surely should have opened the back,so I think the case and movement must be real you would think

That seems to be rather convoluted reasoning, although I'm not saying that you're necessarily wrong.

It just seems to me that the seller lacks integrity and is not to be trusted for anything, especially the unseen portions of the watch.

The watch is a monstrosity and a grossly overpriced one at that.

It's still for sale. I hope no one bites.
