folks,

My first SS SUB, I just started wearing it with no hoopla .. since I am getting old now, I wanna do an official ceremony to welcome my SD ...So this past weekend I was in San Diego, the city by the sea. Since I bought a brand new SD, I thought what better way to make its transition into adulthood than to dip it into the mighty Pacific Ocean. Didn't get a chance to do so since most of our time was spent in Old Town. Even though I was also in Seaport Village, I couldn't run and dip it in the ocean for a couple of reasons:

1) Too many family members and kids to take care of. I would need at least 10mins on the ocean, taking pics while my SD is submerged to an astounding depth of 4inches of saltwater

2) And most important of all, I forgot to bring my rope and 18 carabiners with which I would tie my sedweller before placing it on the ocean floor. I am no fool, I don't want some stupid wave to take my SEA DWELLER to the depths of the ocean! Or some freakin creature to appear out of nowhere and gulp it down ... hell no!

but I have decided that would by official way to start wearing my SD.

But anyways, I live near the ocean so I will have plenty of oportunities for my official ceremony.

Now here is a funny thing that happened. When I bought my SD last week, I also got my ss sub bezel replaced from BLK to BLUE/GOLD. Many people have said it looks a little wierd. Yes, it does look different but it is a new color combo for me to stare at .... Now after driving about 2 hrs, we all arrive in San diego so the first stop we had was Old Town. I park my car, get the family and stuff out and what do I notice laying right next to my tire?? A cheap crappy imitation bezel from a SUB ... Now what a freakin coincidence that is! It might be my sub saying to me "PUT THE BLK BEZEL BACK ON, YOU NUT!"

So for all of you people, here is one cheap crappy bezel to look at and it makes you feel good that to what lengths other people go through to act like that they got the real thing:

I hope that your ceremony will go off without a hitch and that your Sub will stop having bezel-mares!

The test once the "Christining" is over is to "see how many seas".

My Exp II so far.
North Sea, surfing.
Atlantic Ocean, surfing
Red Sea, Egypt, diving & swimming.
