I've noticed that many members here collect knives.
I've always admired a nice, well made knife and I used to get knife collector catalogs but so far I only have one tactical one hand lock-blade and I carry my trusty Victorinox Swiss Army knife daily. I keep a Leatherman in my truck and in the tool pouch on my motorcycle.
Lets see your collector pieces and what you carry daily and hear the merits of each.

I don't have a pic but I keep my Spyderco Viele II in my pocket at all times along with my trusty Surefire Kroma flashlight (although too big for my pocket, it stays near me in the storage bin in the car, on my nightstand while in bed, etc.)

2007 was the year of the knife for me. I acquired two Randalls -- a 14 and an 18, a Chris Reeve Sebenza, Chris Reeve Mnandi, several multi-tools (for the trucks and motorcycle), a SOG Twitch and a few Spydercos. I gave the SOG and Spydercos as gifts to my brother and a few clients, and I still have one. These were added to my already formidable collection of various Swiss Army knives, dive knives and various tool knives.

But I haven't gotten around to taking many photos. Sorry!

OK! Syderco Native; Microtech LCC that I'm selling; Chris Reeve's Sebenza; Spyderco Manix; Benchmade Blackwood; Stider GB. Had to sell the GB. Too many "quirks" that plain upset me.

Only own one tool pocket knife, a Leatherman Supertool that I've had for 15+ years. Fixed everything from computers to cars with this puppy!

Have a nice set of Global forged chefs knives, though they are so sharp they scare me a bit; I've cut myself with them and never felt it.

Not into knives at all, but carry this one daily. It's gotten me out of a few sticky situations.

Have some excellent butcher knifes all razor sharp, can shave with them a dull one will cut you faster than a sharp one

The small black 1 with the shield on the handle is a Hitler youth knife worth the most I would guess

the second one is a custom Tom Mayo TNT. It is butter smooth too!

I have a few more beaters, Benchmade AFCK, Spyderco Endura, and a Kershaw Junkyard Dog. I rotate the beaters for every day carry.

I have always loved Buck knives. The first decent knife I ever owned was a Buck folding knife that my brother bought me for Christmas when I was about 13-14 years old.

I probably haven't bought a knife in 10+ years but from looking at some of the pics here I need to get out there and take another look.

Jens (JJS) is a very good knifemaker and close friend. I just received a nice paring knife he made for my wife as a Christmas gift.
To tell you what kind of guy he is, Jens sent me a Rolex wallet a couple of weeks ago...just because he thought I needed one
