I have been gradually getting more interested in Omega over the past year, ever since Chris (aka GMT Master) raved about them. I always liked the PO but felt it was a little too big and heavy. I like the diameter of the 42 mm model (as it seems extremely close to my GMT), but even it was a little taller than I'm used to, and a bit top heavy for me.

I got pretty excited when I learned that the blue titanium model was being released in 42mm because I love the blue colour, and figured the titanium would solve my concern with the weight. However I had never actually tried on the 45.5mm titanium version until today. I was pleasantly surprised with the lightness - it felt much better on my wrist than even the steel 42mm. I also slightly prefer the proportions of the 45.5mm given the thickness of the PO.

This is by far the biggest watch I own, and it might take a bit of time to get used to the size, but the lightness of the titanium makes it very comfortable for me. I will likely never wear it with dress shirts (it may not fit under them), but it will make for a good weekend/casual watch.

P.S. I realize the bracelet seems a little loose in the wrist shot - I think I need to remove a link or half.

I love blue watches.
The WG Rolex blue Sub is a grail for me.
I think this watch is very close, and, in some ways, even a prettier blue than the Rolex.

You will get used to it in a very short time.
Hardest decision each morning is which one to wear.
Made mine easier by adding oem rubber strap to the PO 45mm.
Now my PO feels like the sport watch and the GMT the dressy watch

I have read how some people find their other watches very small after wearing a bigger watch, and are subsequently turned off even 40-42mm watches.

I love my Rolexes (Milgauss and GMTc) and feel they are a very tasteful and comfortable size for me, and can never imagine being turned off them, however I can't say it wasn't a very minor concern.

Seeing as you also have the 45.5 PO and the GMT Master, did you go through anything like this? I'd extend this question to anyone with a larger watch.

I highly doubt it will be a problem for me, as I am not easily swayed from something I really like, and I also see it as an opportunity for some variety in my watches. Just thought I'd see what others might have to say.

As large as the 45'5 is it feels very comfortable. I have large wrists as my GMT needs all the links it came with. I thought about trading it for the 42mm but when I tried one on and held them side by side I could not tell which was which. Very happy to keep it. Have the black band with orange stitching and can't stop admiring it.

After wearing the PO all day, I slipped on my GMT and was pleasantly surprised how good it still felt.

Yours is also a beautiful model. I really like the black strap with orange stitching, and considered it for quite some time.

I removed a link from the bracelet and it fits much better. I have been wearing everyday since buying. I no longer have my once runs with the size. Perfect.
