Icon20 Need information on Vintage 1675

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1675 GMT Pepsi 1967 with original box and all papers from a collector. The watch has all original parts and has recently been serviced by a Rolex certified watchmaker who I know personally does outstanding work. It is in excellent condition and running within COSC. The asking price is $6K. This would be my very first foray into the vintage arena. I am excited but want to know is this a fair price? Sorry...I don't have any pics. Thanks everyone. Appreciate any and all information.

Price could be fair of it were in immaculate condition. Without looking at the lugs, the bracelet, tritium on the dial plots and hands, etc. The dial itself should be a particular dial and not a service tritium dial. I mean there are a ton of variables.

Thanks....it has the original dial. It was owned by a collector who sold it to a collector. The watchmaker who did the repair is also a collector of vintage Rolex. Any idea what a good price range would be in general terms? I realize this is difficult to pin down precisely without pics.

If it were all original with B&P as you claim, in immaculate condition, $6K is a STEAL!

As PDoukas said, "there are too many variables."

Above average condition at $6,000 is a very good price. Get out the Kodak and let's see some pics!

We need pics. Many many many 1675s have replacement hands and /or dials , inserts. These replacement parts are "original" as you state, but not "period-correct", which might influence the price substantially.

I don't want to sound like a smart ass here, but why would a "collector" let go of a full 1675 set at below market price if everything checked?

Lets see those pics as the other posters say! Cheers.
