Datejust Bezels
Is the fluted bezel available in steel on current production datejusts or is it only available in the Rolesor or all gold models?

The WG fluted bezel comes on the SS/WG DJ which is model 116234 (stainless and white gold model).
The ALL STAINLESS DJ is model 116200 which comes with a smooth stainless bezel. |

Is the 116234 reference 36 mm?
Is the bracelet steel/gold or steel only? Why is the 116234 so much less costly than the 116233 steel/yellow gold?

The bracelet is all stainless (no gold) The reason the 116234 is less costly is because while there is SOME white gold on this watch (bezel primarily), the 116233 model has a two-tone bracelet which contains a fair amount of gold. |

I just purchased the all SS datejust with smooth bezel. I wanted the white gold fluted bezel, but I couldn't come up with the last little bit of money to make it happen. I got the dial and bracelet I wanted and believe I will be very happy with it.

There is a bezel that comes in STEEL and resembles the fluted one (in WG or YG only, btw.) to a degree: the socalled "engine turned" steel bezel. But it is not as shiny and does not have the sharp facets like the WG/YG fluted bezel has.
You can still get the "engine turned" bezel, but only on the Air-King (but also on the NEW AK's).
