Pretty cool.

The two-tone bezel GMTc is going to be a popular item.

Blue like the sky for daylight hours,
Black as pitch for nighttime hours.

Brilliant!

Completely disagree. Have a Deepsea too and wouldn't buy this watch if it got bigger. 40mm is the perfect size now and when I'm an old(er) man, can guarantee that I won't be wearing a Deepsea in my 60's if I make it there, but I'd sure wear this.

Just feel that 40mm is a bit girly....and i get the feeling that 99% of present owners are also worried about residuals should 42 mm make an entrance.
I think if rolex had released the sub 42 mm instead of the explorer we would have seen a much more positive take up on the size.
I remember getting my 1st rolex an explorer 1 and thinking it was massive....guess fashion and tastes change...

Congratulations, it looks good in the photos. But I have to see one in the flesh, before I pull the trigger.

I want this watch! I'm really looking forward to seeing this in person. It looks purple in this picture and others that I’ve seen, which I don't like.

And it is certainly not too small. Just the right size. I don't know why people want to wear giant disks on their wrists.

nice. I like the blue . also, 40mm "girly," that's rich.

overcompensating much?

all the girls these days are wearing 44mm "boyfriend" watches anyway.

I agree with Rashid that this isn't too small. I'm not sure how big the OP's wrist is, but the photo does make the watch look small. However, I think 40mm is a good size. Not all of us have giant wrists and can pull off a DSSD. Having said that, I can't deny the trend towards bigger watchers. I have 44mm watches and can't stand to wear them now because I think they look obscene.
