Advice Please on 15038

Love the board and have learned a lot by reading the many posts. Would like your input on two things..

1. Somehow my wife hit her watch on a door frame and broke/popped off the crystal. The watch runs fine, bought it used so no idea when it was last serviced. Is this something that needs to go to rolex, or can a local watch shop repair it?

2. I'd like to get a gold bracelet to replace the un-original leather band, does anyone know what size or model fits this watch?

Many thanks!

Either RSC or an independent watchmaker authorized and certified with a parts account should do a full service. A new actylic crystal will be fitted as part of the service.

Figure $3-5K for a pre-owned bracelet depending upon condition and completeness, right?

I am not expert in used market price, but as both are full gold it may be very expensive indeed.

the band will be expensive as stated around 3k, the glass can be replaced quite easily and cheaply by any watchmaker with a rolex parts account
