My DJ with leather strap...need info

Im thinking of putting a black leather strap on my DJ, how do you think it will look? Also, how much will it cost and would it be something i can replace when i want, as in if i want to switch between my jubilee and the leather strap is it easy to switch, or would i have to bring to my salesman to change? Thanks

In my other thread I mentioned that I just put my jubilee bracelet back on my DateJust. I had such a poor quality leather strap that I began to miss the bracelet. I don't have the proper tools to fool with the bracelet and as a result I created a few scratches trying to remove and reattach the bracelet myself. I took it back to the AD and let them reattach it and polish out the few scratches I had created. If you bought the watch from that particular AD then they should do it for you for free. If not, they probably won't charge more than $10 to remove the bracelet. If you have the right tools and some experience then removing the bracelet is not complicated at all.

I think it would look great. Make sure to get a quality strap and you can do it yourself just be patient and take your time.

When taking off or putting on the bracelet, make sure you tape up the lugs with masking tape (both on the over- and underside!). This will help you avoiding them getting scratched.
