Just when you think you are done...you get dragged back in...
Just saw a RG Schumi at my AD. Retail is HK$614k (~US$79k). Given I recently bought a 44mm RG novelty from them about a month ago they offered me a 18% discount on the Schumi. I think I can get them down to 20% which will be ~HK$490k (~US$63k).
Assuming I can sell the 44mm RG novelty for HK$290k (~US$37k), sell my panda ROO on bracelet for ~HK$100k (~US$13k), I would need to put in another HK$100k (~US$13k) to make the schumi purchase. Would you guys do this if you were me?

I wouldn't... Schumi surely is a great piece but would it give you as much (or more) utility as RG Novelty + Panda? In my honest opinion, no.
From my personal experience, I never felt "comfortable" after flipping watches. If I were you, I would just get the money and buy Schumi when you can instead of flipping your 2 lovely ROO's to fund Schumi |

Me personally, no. Your 44mm RG is a great watch... And for myself, a guy without unlimited funds, the $25-30k premium for the Schumi because it's a LE does not add up.
I don't have the collection you do, so I would rather take that money and put it towards adding another piece. |

I'm surprised as well that they are selling the Schumi below list.
If I'm in that price range, I'd get the RG RBII though. Love the white dial and open pattern. |

$26k to upgrade from the 44m RG to Schumi.
Not a chance I would take that. |

What about getting a 44m Platinum?
That would be cheaper and sort of a half way between your existing two in terms of looks? |

If you really really like it why not. But I personally would keep the RG. And not do it.

Depends on if you love it or not. The other two will be easier to move if you ever wanted to given the lower price point.

I would. That Schumi RG is stunning. Well worth it, especially at that discount.
I've owned the 44mm RG nov, and would love to have Schumi if it weren't so heavy. GO FOR IT! |

I'd say go for it! The RG Schumi is a great looking watch. The panda is sorta outdated now.

Sometimes it's really hard to decide! Just go with your heart and get the one you loved, if not, you will be thinking of her all days and nites...and by the time you decided she maybe gone!

Love the Schumi, but would be happier sticking with the RG44.

I had a same dilemma two months ago. I ended up keeping my 44mm RG. between the two, the regular 44mm will have more wrist time for sure, coz i dont feel like wearing the schumi with suit and tie.

Schumi is a nice watch, but I'm in the minority that I don't like "celebrity branded" LEs.
Would take a RG Grand Prix over that. |

There is a lot of money in situ there. Walk away you already have two beautiful pieces. JMOH.
