AP RO Ceramic diver or SS?
Hi. I'm thinking that trade my AP RO SS diver to upgrade to Ceramic Diver. Have anyone seen the AP ceramic diver in a real life? How do you think of it? . Is it worth to trade in? Or should I keep the SS and add another ceramic to my collection :)
Thanks |

In that pic, I prefer the ceramic. How they are in real life and the cost difference will be something else to consider though.

The msrp for the ceramic is the best part having seen both. If you can get the FC for the same price (which is possible on TRF) I would personally go FC

ss.
Ceramic will be more practical in the sense that you'll get less scratches etc, but ss just looks better imo |

I have seen ceramic diver in person at AP boutique Taiwan. It so beautiful than the picture.
I like FC but the yellow minute hand some how bored me. But I may get use to it. But the main point is open case back in ceramic is awesome! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 |

I would go Ceramic or FC. Both are interesting compared to the SS which is nice but boring.
SS is becoming too common and everyone and your neighbor has one. |

Sad thing is the ceramic diver only available at the end of this year or maybe early next year
![]() ![]() How tough between ceramic case vs FC? FC of course lighter but scratch resistant will better then ceramic? |

Ceramic is my favorite AP diver. Like the look as much as the others, LOVE the scratch resistance, and LOVE the exhibition caseback.

I would keep the SS, ceramic is too monochrome for me, and get the Novelty SS for the ceramic bezel, a great pairing.

If the choice is 1 or the other then SS for me - SS really shows the design well (Learning to live with the scratches!!!)
If there were funds for both pieces would probably invest in another brand/ piece.

Hmm that's a great question! Am not in that position so not sure, and of course it's down to personal choice: maybe a PP Nautilus or Aquanaut? All Gold Rolex GMT or DD2? SS AP Novelty 44mm? FC AP BumbleBee? (better stop thinking about this now lol!) I *personally* wouldn't want 2 of the same watch (albeit in different colours), however I know people who have 2 of the exact same watch! Horses for courses. The ceramic Diver Display back is a lovely bonus though.

As much as I love AP, PP nautilus 5712 also is my final gail..:-) |
