I think both look great but it will definitely depend on your personality. Speaking for myself I'm 23 but am not too much into very big watches, therefore I'd rather go with the classic ROC with its 39mm case and its timeless look. The Novelty sure looks great, there's no doubt in that but I feel like I wouldn't be able to wear it as much as the ROC (though I must admit I must be as extreme the other way around as I wear dress watches with jeans and t-shirts, perhaps I just can't see myself wearing such a big watch with fancier outfits but you may be able to do so).
Obvioudly it should only depend on which model you prefer but I'd go with the RG ROC myself. ![]()

Thank you everyone for your comments. So I tried both watches again today side by side and I must say 44mm RG Novelty def has the upper hand! I believe I can get something similar to the classic RG ROC later down there road instead.... As some of you mentioned, might as well wear something more sporty and modern at my age....
BUT then my eyes (darn you pupils) saw a brand that most you us AP lovers will frown on.... HUBLOT..... but wait, its something that I must say, is pretty cool... In house movement, skeleton, black and VERY sexy..... it's the classic fusion extra thin skeleton in black ceramic! It has a pretty attractive price point especially after a very decent discount.... SO.... you guys still prefer the 44mm RG or can I give this black beauty a chance? A very sexy black piece at a fraction of the price.... pic as attached from internet. Maybe I should just stop looking at watches period... THEY ARE EVIL!!!! ![]() ![]() |

Dennis, you already have two great openworked APs. Get the Novelty.

Just sold my 39mm 26022 with gray dial, but I choose 100% sure the 39mm. 44 mm is much to big for me. I'm now looking for the 41mm RG 26320.

Get the Novelty. I like the design of Hublots but the RG Novelty has your name written all over it.

Just saw pics of your grey dial and it looked great. The new ROCs are just as fine only bigger so probably perfect for you.

Do you have a 26320 in RG? I'm considering that watch.

I sure do, my friend. Its a gorgeous watch, even more beautiful in real life and wears like a 43/4mm, just like most 42mm ROOs but it is thinner ofc. Hope the pics and my thread help you decide.
