Our two piece leather straps are handcrafted in the U.S and Germany using the best sourced leathers that our strap maker can find. All of our 2 piece leather straps are vegetable tanned, a process that takes 9 months. This is a method of tanning, which is seldom used anymore and is the way leather was tanned over 50 years ago. This ensures a much better looking, longer lasting, vintage feeling and looking leather and is the very important difference between our vegetable tanned leather and modern chrome tanned leather which is what 99% of leather straps sold are today.
