Omega Man!

You know that old movie with Chuck Heston, named Omega Man(it`s remake was perhaps last year`s biggest hit,I Am Legend)?
I think that I should change my username for that!
Yesterday I traded my beloved Rolex Explorer II WITHOUT box or papers, for THREE Speedmasters! Two of them are brand new, with box, papers, and waranty!!!
Here`s the short story:my friend WAS Omega A.D. for last 10 years or more.He looses his license this year and startet to sell watches that are left in storage room.Couple days back I bought from him blue Speedmaster from Schumacher series.
And now listen to this:he gave me my money BACK,along with also brand new same model but with SS bracelet and with yellow dial and with ALMOST NEW Speedmaster Proffessional - the legendary Moonwatch!
And all that for my Expy!
And I did it!
I gave him my Expy(without box&papes) for two UNPACKED Speedmasters and one ALMOST NEW Moonwatch!
I think that I made very good deal, but I`m sure as hell in one thing:sooner or later I`ll get my hands on another Rollie...

I can't blame you for that trade. Looks like you picked up some nice pieces which you can always flip and get another Explorer II.

Awesome trade! I think you did the right thing 1000%! Not often does a deal like this come along, especially swapping out a ExpyII with no papers.

It sounds like you got an especially good deal--congratulations! I haven't seen speedmasters with a blue or yellow dial before but they look good--nice collection.

But then again,I couldn`t resist to put on my wrist yellow one and I liked it very much!
I`m finishing some serious bussines now,it seems that I`ll be able to get some Rollie sooner than I thought...

You certainly like bright colors. Very nice trio and excellent watches. I love my Omega, it gets most of my wrist time.

Vuko - A very good trade. Personally, I would hang on to the blue and yellow dials. I couldn't find one if I wanted to buy - so they are rare and collectable IMO.

And, you can always buy another Expy ll. Any time, any place... Larry.
