Rubber or Kevlar straps for GMT Master iic??
Hi Everyone-
Just picked up my GMT Master iic and I'm looking for Dive straps. I love the bracelet but wouldn't mind something a little more incognito and it's just fun to give your watch different personalities right? I'm aware of Rubber B which just aren't very good looking unfortunately IMO. I am also aware of Isoframe and they're okay but I am more into the look of the vintage seiko rubber straps. Anything that looks vintage is IMO much more period correct for the watch than the rubber B that looks like it came off of the IWC Aqua Timer. I do however love the Kevlar straps that come on the IWC Top Gun Pilot. That's a great strap would have been a cool watch if they wouldn't have put the Phrase TOP GUN all over it and ruined it. Ok so I'm pretty tough to please as maybe you can tell. Can any of you on here help me? Are there any good Seiko style diver straps that will fit the GMT Master iic that are good quality and have a nice buckle? Are there any Kevlar style straps that are good quality that will fit Also is 20mm the right size for the Master iic? I've heard sometimes its a better fit with 21mm Right or wrong? Anyway if you could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. Thank you |

If it were me and I didn't want a RubberB I would go with a Brady Straps Sailcloth pattern.

Why not leave it on its bracelet?

Vintage-style straps on ceramic looks a bit mismatched to me, but if you like it...I'm sure you will get lots of suggestions
