5 Years in Iraq......

Today marks 5 years of the war in Iraqi. This tribute is to those we have lost and to bring the rest of you home safely! God Bless!

I am sure that those who would wish to turn the thread into a car wreck will refrain from doing so.

This is a thread to salute the Lions and the innocent and not one to criticize the Donkeys.

There are those of us who are against this folly but are in full support of the troops who were forced to participate in it.

May they all stay safe and come home in one piece.

God Bless our troops.

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.--President George W. Bush

"We in America have learned bitter lessons from two World Wars: It is better to be here ready to protect the peace than to take blind shelter across the sea, rushing to respond only after freedom is lost. We've learned that isolationism never was and never will be an acceptable response to tyrannical governments with an expansionist intent."--President Ronald Reagan

I wish to salute all great men and women of our military and our Allies whether you be in Iraq, Afganistan, Cuba, Japan, Philippines, Turkey, or anywhere else in the world. Your sacrifice of being away from your families and in danger every day is truly great and meritorious. You all are true heroes in our minds. Please be safe, be successful, and really, really know that you are not forgotten, or taken for granted in any way. You are all remembered and thought of each day by all of us back home.

God bless.
It is ashame of all heroes who perished in this needless war.

I feel bad for the families who lost their loved ones.

Iraq is now a hotbed of terrorism, while before it was only a violent dictatorship which kept the country together from breaking up into pieces.

Now that the war has happened, I feel it is vital for them to succeed, and do what they can to provide for the country and their ideological goal. Leaving immediately would be a victory to terrorists, to the ones who murdered and buried the Iraqi Archbishop alive last week.

There should be more world intervention and participation in Iraq so it's not seen as a "one-sided" US invasion in the eyes of the Iraqis and Arab world.
