Date of manufacture.

Ok guys can you tell me, how do you confirm / find the date of manufacture of a rolex watch ?

Have a look at the papers of your watch and there should be a letter and after that 6 digits.

The first letter indicates the year of production of your watch and the numbers are the serial number of your watch

For example mine is M 22XXXX

The serial number is also engraved on the case between the lugs at the 6 o'clock position. The bracelet must be removed to check though

If it is the DJ you mention in that other thread of yours, don't worry too much about lacking papers, though, since when you get it serviced, the service papers would be as good as a certificate.
