It appears to have had a moisture leak, the hands are damaged and the crown is I don't know what.
I would avoid this at that price, or for that matter at any price.

thank you for your input- is it the color of the patina and rust that makes you think its had a moisture leak?

Not necessarily the color, but the damage inside the dots, and the overall condition...I could be wrong, but that combined with the rust indicates moisture to me. Overall its not in great condition and its a later model. The hands are really bad, and the crown is messed up...not sure whats going on with it. If you want a nice vintage piece you can do much better.

If you don't care about condition and just want a daily beater with patina...then thats a different story. But this could potentially require a large investment to make whole.

BTW- looks to date about 1989 or so...so technically it is vintage.

I agree that the watch has seen moisture in the case; the 1 and 2 o'clock lumes are darker than the rest...

The minute hand lume has damage....

The crown has worn through the outer layer of plating and will need replacement.

The bracelet is pretty rough.....

The pearl is missing....

I would pass and find a 5513 that was better taken care of.....
