Is this a fair price for 2001 Ladies Datejust with stretch (pics)
Hi guys
(Or if you don't know, just an opinion on how bad the stretch is would be great). I have the opportunity to purchase a 2000/2001 Ladies datejust for £2000, or about $3200 dollars. I think it is 79174. The bracelet is pretty stretched, I have uploaded 2 screenshots to show - Can you advise how bad this is on a scale of 1 to 10? Also the watch has never been serviced but runs well. Other than the bracelet the watch is in good condition. It has a factory mother of pearl face (no diamonds). The quandary I have is I do like the watch, but it is quite stretched. I like the mop pattern - Is it quite hard to find a particular mop pattern you like? I have ruled out buying a newer version with the super-jubilee bracelet as I just don't really like the design and updated contours. Also - Is £2000 pretty close to what the RRP would have been in 2000/2001? - Is it reasonable to pay for this watch? Would appreciate your thoughts, thank you Last edited by chellini; 8 October 2014 at 08:38 PM.. Reason: More info. |

From that photo I could tell you more about the condition of the brick wall than the watch. Do you have so anything clearer?

:) sorry no, that is what I was sent by the seller, a short vid which I have screencaptured. Hopefully the overall angle tells a tale of some sort?
