I would agree. I did a lot of due diligence and bought from a very reputable seller here on TRF... but I am a typical catastrophizer and always think of everything that could go wrong in any situation of importance.

Once I see the movement and get the appraisal, my mind will finally be at ease haha.

I sympathize with the OP. Somedays I wake up, look in the mirror, and wonder if I'm still real. The the mirror cracks and I know it is still me. But the reptilians are out there, posing as humans, even posing as WIS.

How can you tell them from humans? They are the posters who are always worried if it is safe to wear their watches, which is reptilian code for "Is it Safe for Us to Populate this Area?"

Well Larry he is Glaswegian, so those wallet dodgers have a better chance than most of us.

Definitely looks like a watch for life.

But from I've learned here, it's hard to keep that kind of promise.

Congrats!

It's not quiet like having a wife. I wouldn't worry about a permanent bond.

I dont blame you man...unlike a lot of members I definitely do not have thousands to just blow so actually seeing the movement etc. will for sure give you a piece of mind..

828 country code is Taiwan. Not sure if that AD is still in business though. Box is correct for the sale date on the warranty.

I know what you mean. When I bought my first Rolex, it was the first time that I had ever paid so much for a device that can be outperformed by a Happy Meal trinket.

I have never had one moment's regret for any Rolex purchase, but when I bought the first one, I was in completely new territory and that night when I searched for the LEC and couldn't find it, I wondered if I could have been bamboozled by an AD.

The salesman who sold me the watch was quite taken with my knowledge about Rolex, but having made the plunge, I realized how many holes there were in my knowledge-base.

Of course, these were fleeting thoughts, but they were very real.

Congratulations on your new "watch for life."

:-D 👍

My 20000th post for JJ.

To remember one of our most prolific posters I put up my 20000th post to JJ.

A WIS from the beginning to the end.

RIP JJ.

It was fitting that it came up on a fellow Scotty's' thread.

Congrats on the 20K Eddie.

Great photo of JJ, and it does appear he is proudly displaying his watch too
