Great to see the family photo 'out to dinner', Tim.
It's those family events that make the season for me.
I don't have a New Year photo as we just had an extended drinks & nibbles session that lasted into the evening.
I have never tried Kangaroo. They talk it up on the net, protein, fat, Omega 3s etc. I'd be expecting it to taste a bit 'gamey' for my palate.

Yea, it was "gamey'" , I didn't care for it at all, an acquired taste perhaps? Very dry and so gamey that it almost tasted rancid to me. Oh well, I'll try anything once.... twice if I like it!
