Do you mean 16710 or 16750?

Prices are pretty high now on the Forum for-sale section, but you can find some there...both the older faded ones, and newer ones. Inserts for the 16760 and 16710 are fine for your watch, too. If I were you I would try the Beverly Hills RSC as you're in California. I think I read recently that they will sell inserts without you turning in the old one. Give them a call, they're much cheaper than private sellers for inserts.

x2. Beverly Hills RSC should be able to quote you one over the phone.

I thought of doing something similar and called the RSC in Sydney earlier this week. They said they would happily change the existing Coke bezel over for another, but wouldn't supply me an extra Pepsi.

find a shop near you with a parts account.. Usually only the RSC or some anal AD's keep the old insert..

RSC BH allowed me to buy a second insert without trade in for ~$75. If you trade in your old insert it is $48.

Worst case have it removed by a jeweler, and then go to RSC and say it fell off and you'd like to buy one

Went BH. RSC today, said old one disappeared...$78.48, new Pepsi installed. If I had the old one around $49.00. Took about an hour
