After 22hrs flight 29hrs travelling time with two plane change I am back

I am truly sorry to have left Sydney behind with so much yet to discover but I'll be back faster than most think I will.

It was a truly great trip made better by meeting a few new people along the way, we were so well received it was truly difficult to say goodbye to both the places we went to and the people we met. I will post more pictures probably next week as I have some pictures to deliver to a client.

I'll sneak a few here and there - until then a few more from Sydney, we'll start the ball rolling with a couple captured at Manly beach a place we visited on a friend and his wife's recommendation, a short ferry ride from the docks next to the Opera house.

Manly Beach

We even caught a rainbow (and some rain) while we were there

A park close to the business district

A few of the Opera House, what a great building

My Significant other laughing at me

Me laughing at her (Both the D300, D3, 24-70 and 70-200/VR got drenched on the way back from Manly, some people would have cried, I laughed... It is just stuff, the things that matter was holding a part of the stuff )

Ooops more of the Opera House

And wild life in the public parks...

Just amazing

There was a gaggle of them surrounding us and nibbling on our shoes

Well, Sydney - I'll see you again real soon!

Awesome pictures. I have got to visit that place some day. I work too hard .

Your SO looks like a fun person. Good sense of humor.

Mine does too. She has to have a sense of humor to put up with me.
Love makes the world go round.

Dude, I second Jason's statement. I don't know if you work hard at these pictures or if it just comes natural, but when I see one of your threads come up, I have to click it!

Thank you, a little bit of both, someone once said I was a natural at it but I still think the shots through and then it is all about the post process to make it look like I saw it when I captured the shot.

Thank you, I like it this way but like your crop suggestion idea, may try it when I find the time.

Thank you Terry! Yes she does have a great sense of humor and bad taste in jokes, hey! She does laugh at my jokes (Hence bad taste...)

Great pics, Patrick. Thanks for sharing them. Once again they bring back memories of our trip there last year. We loved Manley Beach. And I couldn't take enough pictures of the opera house. I think I have it from every angle except an arial view. The best of that I could get was from the middle of Sydney Harbor bridge.

Again thanks for the memories.
