SS Daytona for me is the one - iconic watch!!
However day to day I wear a white faced 42mm Explorer 11 - awesome watch. |

I wear a white Daytona daily, but this is even hard for me. The Royal Oak is gorgeous, but I like the utility I get out of my chronograph. I also use the Easylink every once in a while now that the weather is starting to fluctuate from high 40s F, back down to 7 F. The 15400 has a very limited amount of adjusting you can do.

Nice pickup. Did you end up flipping the DSOTM, or did you keep the existing collection in tact?

Had to flip the DSOTM but at a price that I can require further down the line if I miss it

15400, no wrong choice here, though.

I'm partial to Rolex, so Daytona gets my vote.

Daytona. Both look outstanding, but the Daytona creates a sense of ease on my eyes. It simply is more sleek to me. That's just my opinion, not a fact. Best regards to you

AP 15400 silver dial would be a nice addition to your collection

I'd go with the AP for variety

I know that the AP is a great watch, I am just not a big fan of the look.

Speaking from my own personal experience - 15400. I have both..one hasn't left the safe in months and the other gets worn. If it wasn't clear the 15400 gets wrist time. I know how this forum feels about Daytona's in general but after owning one I'm underwhelmed. I might try the Platona at some point and change my mind. Platona is a bit larger and might just make the difference. I don't like how the SS Daytona looks and sits on my wrist even though my wrist is medium sized.

Have the SS Daytona white dial and the AP 15202, love them both, but prefer the Daytona over the 15400.

I went to an authorized AP dealer and came OOH SOO close to getting a white 15400.
I ended up getting a SS Daytona and absolutely love it. But I like the AP also... It was a tough choice for me as well, but I definitely recommend the Daytona (especially if you have a fairly small wrist like I do, the AP wears bigger than 41mm IMO, almost like 44mm). Good luck, both watching are stunning Whitedayona.jpg |
