Daytona - chronograph slowed watch down

Hi all, as the topic said, I ran my chronograph last night to give it some 'exercise' and ran it for 7 hours. By the time it was done and my time keeping obsession kicked in, I noticed it had slowed down the watch by 6 secs against the same web based time I always use to obsessively check my watches. LOL.
So, the obvious thought is I am wondering why it even affected the time at all.

That would all depend on how much power reserve the mainspring had to start with or whether it was worn or what resting position it was in plus many other variables.Afraid you just cannot rely on a test over 7 hours with the chrono function running.Take my advice forget about your OCD time checking or it will start to take the enjoyment out of owning and wearing a Rolex.Myself check mine once a week or so, seldom are they more that a minute or so out if more than 2 minutes I will then reset.

I keep my THC's big chrono hand running 24/7 and it's my most accurate watch (less than one sec per day). The big seconds hand is always in perfect synch with the seconds subdial, too. Some people don't like the THC's DD chrono module setup, but it works fine for me (so far).

Adam you can thank hear say and the Internet for that, the main and only reason many don't like it,is just simply this. Many watchmakers have no idea how to service them,but with the correct service they are just as reliable and accurate as most of the top ten chronograph movements made today. Adam cannot see the point of running the chrono function 24/7 if its not needed to time something.

I know...I just like the way that orange hand looks sweeping around the dial. Also, I'm not 100% sure of this, but I read somewhere that a module gears are engaged anyway, whether the hand is running or not. Maybe that's why the two seconds hands always keeping in synch, which I think doesn't happen with the Daytona (?).
