sooooooo close......

Found what I thought was my next vintage piece. It had everything, double punched papers, great case, dial etc. I then asked for a loupe and found a bloody great oil stain from the 7 to 3 markers - hard to see with the naked eye, but blatantly obvious once you'd found it.

Walked away - the hunt continues....just wanted to vent

I sense huge disappointment in your post... It obviously wasn't meant to be and at least you didn't get it and regret it later. AND I would imagine it wasn't an early (unpolished) example of the Apple watch either? !!!!

The louped dial shot request saved you a lot of time, aggravation and a few return shipping dollars.

thanks guys - the ref was a MK2 1680 red sub with a lovely tropical dial - shame about the stain, but hey, at the sort of money being asked for these at the moment, the dial needs to be spot on...
