Triple Tudor incoming!!!!! I need to stop this.

Since my BBblu was a strap model, a month or so ago I had my AD order a Ranger bracelet for me to put it on. Don't know why, just really liked the look of the "only" watch from the auction a couple months ago with the straight end links. Got a call my bracelet was in. As he is a three hour drive away and I have work in the area I always make sure to leave ample time to visit.

Back to the incoming part.

As soon as Tudor announced the curved text rose dial ETA based BB was discontinued I knew that I had to pick up a BBN as it was such a short run and well, I really like the watch. I called my AD. Said he had likely his last one in stock, on a strap. I asked him to keep it in the safe I would be down to get it. Go in there today to gather the watch. As he knew the "only auction" watch was my inspiration he had it ready to go and sized just perfect. So I grabbed it and put it on and that was it. It's perfect for me. It is not for everyone but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I guess I should have cut bait and run, but I didn't.

I recalled that he has a couple MB pens he was holding for me as well, so I start to look around as he locates them. Bad, bad idea.

I spot this buried in a corner of a display case other than the Tudor one. I hear out of the corner of my ear "I will make you a great deal on it". Always been a sucker for a big date watch. He gets it out, I try it on and the rest is history. It was a great deal, he was right. It is my opinion that if Tudor did not call this the "GLAMOUR" double date they would sell tons of them at this price point. ($3000 msrp). Just like Rolex would sell tons of Cellini's if they just called it Rolex and left the Cellini part off. Comes on a gator/deployant combo and he ordered the bracelet for me.

Then my wife has had her eye on a larger watch for some time now. She currently wears a 26mm Date. She likes sparkle. This sparkles, almost too much, so we ordered the same watch as below without the diamond bezel. Good thing is it was about $2500 cheaper. And she likes it more!! Winner for me.

Good going

If memory serves....Didn't you pick up the BBBlue, Pelagos and Advisor in one sweep, too? From the same dealer?

Thanks Adam. Good memory!

I have bought every watch that I have (other than my GShock) from him. They are great to work with and really take care of us. They are truly an example of a small, family owned AD that is passionate about horology. Their watch manager is a CW21 from Lititz who has just brought in 2-3 other young Lititz grads as apprentices.

I personally see such a strong value in Tudor line, especially when bought well, that it is hard to pass up. But I really need to chill out for a while now.

ETA Red BB is next and maybe a ranger on leather.

Did he swap over the Ranger bracelet for you on the BBN? Been looking to do this to mine as well.

Edit: I'm an idiot, didn't read the first paragraph haha.
