1675 - Another one for the experts
Spoke to the seller. 1973 model, decent price that's within range (8.7k) and very reputed seller.
Silver date wheel with open 6 with my preferred Jubilee bracelet. It's been polished and one of the lugs looks a bit thin. I know the hands are slightly lighter but that just seems to be how it's aged. What do you folks think? Worth pulling the trigger for? |

Case is a bit soft for my liking, but that's just my taste.

I'd rather spent some more for a better case

price seems a bit steep....and I agree...I'd go for a different example or buy a 5513. For that price you could get a very nice example of a 5513/12.

The right lower lug seems to be grounded down. I would pass.

Common sense prevails...thanks everyone. I'm a bit trigger happy but bear with me.
This is how I eventually got my 5513 as well. The search (and the learning) continue... |

Dial chipped (just like David already mentioned).
To me it looks like someone in the past wanted to give a bit too much patina to the dial (artificially) and patinated the whole dial...writings are yellow, too. Crownguards are....let's say ok. Lugs overpolished from all sides (from bottom, too). Service insert. |

And btw, since I'm no longer pursuing this, I'll specify the Classic Watch in NY, who are apparently very well regarded for their vintage collection. How come renowned sellers don't notice this (or they do and just put it up anyway, hoping suckers like me pick it up!). |

Good decision on that one. May I say there is a mouth wateringly beautiful 1981 16750 on the forum for sale worth casting your eye over. Not the 1675, but damned pretty nonetheless.
