"pmrolex" responding to WTB ad

Brand new member (2 days) contacted me about a WTB from many months ago. I did not respond. Sounds like a scam. Anyone else get a PM from him?

No... But we keep getting calls on the phone from people from around the world who just want us to send them pictures and price lists of whatever we have available. I told a guy from another country, today, that he needed to have at least a general idea of the kind of watch he wants and then we can check inventory to see if it's available and then maybe conduct a transaction. I feel like these guys that call who don't have any idea what kind of watch they want are probably trying to psychological control by causing you to perform a time involved task for them. Then they will use that list to know what item they can steal from you... and since you have so much time and effort involved already, you are less likely to fully scrutinize all the details... human nature is to want to get paid after investing so much effort. So I say to watch out for guys that contact you unsolicited and ask you what you might have in stock. It's also possible, I suppose, that calls like this could also be in preparation for a robbery. Beware!
