Breitling Service Recommendation
Can anyone recommend a watchmaker that services Breitlings and has a parts account? I was informed by an AD that Breitling doesn't issue parts accounts and that I must send watch back to Breitling. Thanks in advance.

I would send it to Breitling before I would use Govberg. I bought a watch that was serviced at Govberg. I had to send it in for regulation,it took 2 months and it wasn't fixed. I decided to just send it to Breitling for a full service and it came back in 6 weeks good as new.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm very frustrated that Breitling will not issue parts accounts to independent watchmakers. It's a monopoly. The few services centers are regulated by Breitling on what they can charge. Not cool.

I'm sorry I don't know any watchmaker or service in your area but I have to give a little tip to you:
Don't send your watch to Breitling. I've sent mine for repair and it returned with dings on its lugs - probably they did it while removing the strap. Even I can remove strap without making dings but apparently watchmakers in breitling didn't watch any youtube videos about how to remove breitling rubber strap. |

This most be something fairly new. I've had my Breitling Colts (an a17035 and an a17350) serviced by an AD (Liljenquist & Beckstead in Bethesda, MD.) The a17035 needed a new crystal and hands. The watchmaker at the AD was able to order the parts with no issue and he did a wonderful job with the overhaul.
