I don't own either watch but, for me, the choice is still easy. I'd pick the DD 40 WG Green Dial!

Voted sub as I do not like the green dial. Any other dial and I would have voted DD

I voted for the DD 40 with the green dial. With a Platinum Daytona it would be a great pair.

I like the green dial too, but will it grow old faster than a *traditional* champagne or silver dial?

DD great dial. No question. Like many have said you already have a sporty watch might as well go a little dressed up.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions everyone! Still not decided yet, but some great pics posted. Interesting to note how the poll is neck and neck whereas the the comments seem to favor the DD.
I've been able to handle both these watches in person, albeit the Sub was a while ago, but something that I keep thinking about as well is the DD40 in PT with the motif ice blue dial as well! It's something that never crossed my mind in pics, but I was able to handle one a couple of days ago and it looked absolutely stunning. |

It is even curiouser as almost no one here actually owns the green dial but we sure seem to like to talk about it...

Personally I wouldn't get either one, I would get the Pt DayDate II or 40. (I also have a Smurf, but it's moot once you have the Platona) |
