I like the Michael Kors angle..... I thought I was in the clear until she mentioned about 30 min ago that we could go to the AD and fit it for her so she can "try it out" for the weekend....I told her that it usually scratches up the band when they remove the pins and that would greatly affect the resale when I sell it one day.....Fingers crossed.....

Let her wear it proudly, and enjoy the fact that in eyes of some you are a billionaire or something!

White Daytonas look beautiful on ladies.

Senator, it's sounds like you need to do two things immediately!
1. Take her to an AD and get on the waiting list, all the while your TRYING on the Platona

2. Most importantly CHANGE the combo to your safe!!!

Minister to the Groom: Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in heath, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto her for as long as you both shall live?

The Groom: " I DO."

Minister to the Groom: Do you gift her your Rolex Daytona Ceramic when she so requests?

My wife will not touch any sport pieces in the safe. She has her own and thankfully none of her friends wear sport models either.

I'm writing your wife in for upcoming November election!
Size a leather with deployant for her and leave the bracelet sized for you, problem solved. Added bonus if she wears it to Inaugural Ball.
Great and funny story.

Depends how much you like the 116500. If it's a favorite I would tell her no dice. If anything we can buy another for you but it may take some time to get one at retail.

I would personally lead her to believing it looks a bit large on her as it probably does anyways.

I'd go with, "Don't take this the wrong way honey, but that watch makes your ass look big". She'll take it off.

Funny wife and watch/Daytona story....

She tells me she ate lunch with a friend who turns out has the prior model 116520 with white dial. My wife tells her, Hey my husband just got one of those but his has a black "ring" around his. Her snobby friend chimes in, Oh there is no way Rick has that watch, you'd have to be a US Senator or Billionaire to have that watch. At my wifes request, I text her a pic of my 116500 white dial, and her B-word friend was stunned saying how in the world did he get that? Her AD told her its a few years to get one. Anyhow, here is the bad part- My wife says," I took it out of the safe and have been wearing it today but its way too big, How can we make it fit me"? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha ha. Deep inside I'm sure you always wanted her to wear watches.... your wish has come true. How about you buy her a new FRIEND.

Thankfully my wife doesn't have any blatant "b word," friends that I can think of.

My ex was a giant B WORD LOL
