Been away for a bit...and this is the thread I come back to?!?!?! This got expensive and fast. Going to need to try a few of these out. Sure wish you could get a good catalog of their products thoug (no clue if you can now, but it seems it's still all email based).

Sent an email off and we'll see how this goes.

I gifted many FLP items to my family, from wallets to large purses. All of the items were very well received. They were extremely excited about learning about the history of the brand, and also to know that they aren't common (yet), in the US.

Thanks to the forum and this thread for making many happy!

Wrote both the Boutique and Galeries since they had different in stock. Looks like I'll be buying from both. Quick communication so far from both, we'll see how the paying goes now that I've told them what I'm purchasing.

Looks great. Does anyone have email contact information for Goyard? You guys have tempted me and now I'd like to order something. I'm looking for more of a pocket organizer.

Thanks

I have the same card holder. Goyard does not have an internet presence. I purchased my Goyard St. Sulpice card holder via mail order from Barney's NY. My contact there is Sheryl Isobe. She was a pleasure to deal with.

I found an email address on the purse forum(purse blog?), it is available somewhere on their homepage too. I have bought my stuff directly from the main office, a lady named Myriam usually answers and it's a delight doing business with them.

Found it: http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/s...-louis.797947/

In post 12 you'll find the address.

Since he lives in the US he will not be able to buy directly from Paris since we have Goyard stores in the states.

Al1969....I would also try just calling their Madison Ave. boutique and they can help you. I personally have found that they have more in terms of stock/colors than the Barneys in store location.

What was the shipping for some of your FLP wallets? Gotta think 90 pounds is high...which is what I was quoted. Then again...maybe that isn't all that bad coming form Paris.

They quoted you in Pounds rather than the Euro?

That does sound an awful lot no matter which of those currencies quoted.

For my wallet and wife's pouchette, shipping was 55€ (Approx $57 USD) to California. $90 seems on the high side, but could it be due to your location? My order arrived in 2 days, so shipping was fast.

Sorry about that, it was Euros. I decided to "save on shipping" I should just buy more. So...I'm going to. A couple of wallets, couple of pocket organizers (CC holders), regular card holders. Why not?!?! Lol

I don't think you will be disappointed.

On a different subject, I went on a cruise to Alaska, the very, very minute amount I saw, convinced me that it was probably the most beautiful place in the world.

I love it here for many different reasons...one of which is LEAVING. Lol. If photobucket wasn't so bad, I'd take a picture of the next few days and share one of the reasons it is NOT great (expecting a sizable storm). But it really is a beautiful place!

The shipping may be due to rates going to AK. You might try to simulate shipping costs on one of the major courier websites to find a better routing.

I deployed to the north slope on an Army exercise in the winter of 1985. We were OPFOR and jumped in. Nobody chased us - too cold (warmed up to -40) and nasty (high winds and blowing snow).

I hear it's really nice in the summer though.

Just ordered. Funny, with my additional items added I went through Galleries instead of the Boutiquie, and my shipping went down to 68 Euro... Either way I should be good to go. Interesting the difference between going through the Boutique and Gallerie (different ways they check out/pay).

Whenever there is a "cold weather" conversation on here, or winter coat topic; I chuckle. Fur up here though is not a "luxury item" it's a necessity (unless you live in Anchorage...lol).

Just ordered a new alligator cash cover from them. Will easily carry about 6 or 8 cards plus cash folds up neatly inside.
Tried to reach out and contact The House of Fleming...and didn't work. Email was returned when I tried. I haven't tried to call as I wanted to just touch base and ask a few questions. Never a good sign when their contact info is no Bueno. Oh well, saves me some money in the long run I guess.

I bought a gold threaded wallet from the house of WGAF and am expecting it in at any time. I wonder what every body thinks of me and what other items people are thinking of purchasing? I love TRF.
