Up for sale is a 1961 Gilt Tropic Rolex Oyster Date Reference 6694 with original 61 - 7206 rivet bracelet .

CASE: Strong case a hows minimal signs of wear. Nice thick sharp lugs. Serial and reference numbers are visible between the lugs:

Serial number: 61**** circa 1961.

with engraved Rolex Patented Insignia.

DIAL/HANDS: Beautiful Gilt Tropic brown dial with Tritium markers in tact. Dial shows mahogany/ dark brown tropic patina throughout. Original gloss dial with Gilt text is in nice condition. Perfect alpha hands with matching patina.

Original plexi shows age and patina.

Movement: Manual wound,17J is clean and keeping time. Recently serviced. Fat font Tropic Date wheel has open 6/9.

BRACELET: 19mm 7206 Rivet bracelet with 50 end links in excellent condition and shows very minimal stretch. Clasp is stamped 1.61 and matches inside of caseback stamp.
