I voted for the Explorer...in retrospect I should have went with Pepsi. It was my daily for years.

I'd go with this guy! (or not on the list a 16610 or 116610)

BLRO is the one with the fun factor imho. Look forward to the end of the 3 weeks to see which piece you conclude is ahead overall.

It's day 5 with the Explorer and I'm highly satisfied. Wrist presence is minimal, hence a higher comfort score. Accuracy is excellent so far, as is looks. Two more days to go.

Sheesh,

I always seem to choose the least popular choice.

Explorer for me.

But!

Call it blasphemy. This is the one watch I would consider a daily wearer 'if' it was a Bamford (or similar) modified. Entire watch blackened with Rolex and Explorer in white on a black dial. 😁

My vote is for the 16710 BLRO. I've worn mine almost every day since having it (over three years now), and its perfect for me.

Another vote for the GMT. Having a date is a must for me and the Pepsi has such a classic look.

Last day for the Explorer

Awesome daily wear.

Looks / wrist presence : A
It looks great, with a classic feel to it, thanks to its reasonable size. Wrist presence is minimal, which is a plus in this case. You barely feel it. It fits perfectly my 6.75" wrist.

Comfort: A+
As stated above, very comfortable.

Fun Factor: B-
There's nothing flashy or out of the ordinary with this watch. A plus or a minus, depending on how you see things. In this case, the B is because it definitely has less fun Factor compared to the other two.

Accuracy: A+
On the seventh day, it's at +10, which is less than 2 spd. Top notch accuracy!

So long, Explorer! Next in line: the Mighty 14060M !

If it fits your wrist, it's hard to go wrong with the 114270

For me personally, the 14060m two-liner is close to a perfect watch. I wear it almost daily with a suit and feel comfortable diving or surfing with it. However, my personal preference is that a diver like a Sub can be worn with suits, which a lot of people disagree with.

So if I were to generically recommend one watch it would be the Explorer as it is insanely versatile and can't think of any occasion (except maybe with a tux) that it wouldn't work. While I'm in the minority with not liking multi-colored bezels, you are in the enviable position of literally being able to pick one of those three at random and ending up with a winner. You could take any of those, quit browsing watch forums, and just wear it the rest of you life and pass it on to your kids without a second though. I understand why people can be negative on the Rolex brand, but it's difficult to imagine saying that about any other watch brand (my opinion, of course).

I agree 100% with the second paragraph. This is the reason why I ditched all my other watches and kept only the Rolexes (except only the Speedmaster). They are top notch.
