New arrival of a old daytona 116520

I am fortunate to find a used 116520 fullset with a reasonable price. I am trying to find the early year of black 116520 due to the following:

1.thin hands,

2.the sub-dial rings are actually thinner than the newer model as well to fit the thin hands like 16520,

3.more like a grey color less reflective sub dial rings instead of the colorful one in later 116520,

4.the silver hour markers are more flat and not as reflective as the newer models,

5.the words and minute markers are super bold and serif, this makes a big contrast to the black dial.

Overall makes this early 2003 more old school.

Very Nice! I have 4 thin hand 116520s. Here are a couple of mine - both first series (p serial) one black and one cream. Picture next to a 116500 to show colour difference.

Nice watches, I also have a 2002/3 thin hand Daytona, but does anybody know for how long the thin Hand version ran for. And also does this add any value to the piece .. not that I’m selling..

The thin hands should be from P to middle of F, thats around 2000-2004. Now this doesnt add value as people tends to find a newer watch with less years. But I guess the thin hands and non-shinny sub dials would be more popular in future.

Thanks! I think the 1st generation BP is the real staff and iconic! Your pp pilot watch is the best pilot watch. Wanna get one as well but too expansive.
