Tudor B.B. Blue and Green ( close up)

Just some pics of the Tudor Blackbay

Blue eta and Green in house,,
I thought the green would be much thicker then the blue eta but not much in it,,,,
Riveted bracelet is heavy compared to an oyster and you really know you have this on, sorry for my awful camera work [emoji30

The green in-house piece looks good and from those photos not excessively thick as alot of posts suggest. Having seen pics of the BB58 at Basel I think maybe Tudor are intent on reducing the thickness of their models. What are your thoughts on the BB58 based on your experience as an owner of the BB41mm s.

I think the smaller B.B. 58 would suit my flat 7in wrist much better then the larger watch and will add one in the future
I pulled out of buying a BBN
eta when I saw the 58 and the gmt but the BBN eta is a piece I will add in the near future as it’s a gorgeous watch,,,

The green is so cool...but the BB series is just SO thick. it wears thicker than a SD on your wrist.

Thanks for reply. Like you I have 7inch wrist and being flat can wear my 43inch Seiko chrono and although it takes up most of my wrist, there is no overhang but my preferred size is 38-40 in a sports watch and I think the BB58 would suit perfectly and will buy it later on in the year.
P.S. Until fairly recently I did not like the snowflake hour hand but it has grown on me and now especially in the Black Bay configuration I probably prefer it. There was a side by side photo in Hodinkee/monochrome of the BB58 and the Tudor diver that came out in 1958 that it is based on and which had the mercedes hands and I preferred the look of the snowflake handed watch i.e. the BB58.

Haha, yes I've seen some of those Big Ben wrist clocks on wrists that probably wouldn't cope with a 40inch never mind 42/44inch and its not a good look(imho). Maybe its getting older but I now like to see some wrist top either side of the lugs.

Nice one jay. Both of them are looking good. I think the 58 will be a great add along with the gmt.
