Do any AD's still have the Sea Dweller 4000?

That watch is so awesome, can't imagine why it was discontinued. It is like a Submariner 2.0, it is the same size but has much better water resistance, helium escape valve and graduations all across the bezel. All in a 40mm case, incredible watch!

The short answer is 'no', the slightly longer answer is 'maybe', and the long answer to the best of anyone's knowledge is that some AD somewhere probably still has one. Finding these ADs will be difficult, and even if you find one many will require you purchase in-person rather than over the phone.

It's certainly possible. It won't be easy.

Another member here has been looking for a few months at least. Heck, I'd possibly consider another if I could find a new one.

Good luck either way!

I've probably contacted more ADs and put in more work than you would ever be willing.....and I'll tell you that I haven't found one.

So the short answer is no...nobody has them anymore. You'll come across guys on TRF saying they saw one or their AD has them.....nope. It is the Deep Sea or the SD43 every time and the poster is mistaken. Trust me, I've checked.

but to be honest there's 3 mint condition models listed right now (check watchrecon) under $11k. After tax at an AD, these prices are actually cheaper than you'd pay anyways. So, as long as you don't mind another name on the warranty card, I'd pick one of those up. or you can pay a premium over MSRP and get a brand new one. There's plenty on the market.

There are some nib pieces floating around with grey dealers, for a slight - surprisingly so, I should add - premium.

To add to my point about posters being mistaken....

Somebody just made a thread claiming to of found a brand new SD4k at MSRP!.....but it's the SD43, lol.
