Legit Check on 41mm DJ

Hi please help,

I recently purchased a SS Datejust 41mm Fluted with jubilee from a trusted seller on eBay.

Everything seems genuine but the weight is off. It only weighs in at 134 grams. Is this due to the new jubilee bracelets being lighter? Or did I just get screwed?

Here are some pics:

Weight?

As far as the weight, if you are short a bracelet link or two that will account for the weight discrepancy. As far as the watch itself, it looks OK to me but you should wait for More Experienced Members To Chime In.

My advice, if you have any doubts take the watch to a watchmaker to get it opened up and authenticated. Especially as you bought it on eBay.

Even if as you say it was a trusted seller, the cost of getting it authenticated is a small price to pay for piece of mind.

Good luck and hope everything turns out OK

Looks good to me as well, but I would just get it opened up for peace of mind. Congrats!

It looks fine to me. Mine is lighter than my other watches (and more comfortable).

I don't have a scale that weighs anything as light as a watch. Mine is noticeably lighter than my Subs and Explorer II.

Are you sure you got the whole bracelet with every link? I've got the smooth bezel DJ2 on a oyster bracelet and it's over 150g, so the fluted bezel and the easy-link clasp would make a difference itself

Yea I think so. It weighed 134 grams with all links. I had to remove 2 links. Now it weighs 130 grams. I have the oyster bracelet on my Daytona. It’s much heavier. Like yours 150 grams. Thank you!
