Incoming, Tudor GMT Pepsi

Today I finally had time to go and pick up my new Tudor GMT Pepsi. The watch is great, but to be honest I’m a little bit disappointed, I don’t have that feeling of awesomeness when I put it on. I think my 16710 would have more wrist time than this when I would want to wear GMT watch.

Why buy it then?
I got the call went in, felt the same way but left with my money in my hand... slept like a baby that night

Try the bracelet version and may look better in my opinion.

Congrats, I hope you learn to love the Tudor GMT but to be honest if I felt the same I would have walked away.

I agree, it's still a $4000 watch. If it doesn't make you excited then it might not be worth the cost

Enjoy your new purchase. It will never be 16710. But why do you want it to be?

Not sure if I would even consider the Tudor if I already had a 16710 TBH.... hope it grows on you.... but like others said I would have cut bait prior to purchasing.... it's not as if the AD would have a problem shifting it on ...

I think it looks beautiful, more of a resemblance to the Coke as oppose to Pepsi. Has a vintage look and feel. Enjoy it!

Congratulations on your Tudor Pepsi GMT! Hard to compete with a 16710 and maybe you shouldn't. Just consider it a different flavor of Pepsi for a different mood/feel. Could swap out with a leather or braclet perhaps. Give it a chance and see what happens. Enjoy in the best of health. Cheers!

As another poster already mentioned - the strap isn't doing you any favors in the comparison department. The balance and heft are going to be different for any watch on a bracelet vs fabric strap like that one.

My AD has gotten 6 and all were quickly gone. Now they have a wait list for it. But I can see your point about the Pepsi getting more wrist time.

Congrats! The navy blue on the Tudor is almost black or is it just the lighting?

Maybe the bracelet version would feel more substantial, I own a 16700 that I love, and just bought a BB GMT and I’m loving it...

I tried it on but was unsure only due to my wrist size (6.75”). I, too, have the 16710. My recent problem with the 16710 is that it has appreciated so much in recent years that I have become too careful with it to truly enjoy it. Too me, the Tudor has that rugged wear me anywhere look. I’m a fan.

I love the watch on the bracelet. Not a real fan of it on the leather strap or nato.

My local AD sold all their initial batch that were on the bracelets (I bought one for my son and ordered another one for myself), but can't seem to move the only one they have on a brown leather strap.
