Great watch. Lume at 9 o’clock allows to get a point of reference in dark so it’s still possible to tell time.

Sorry, i hope this doesnt offend but dont you think its time to remove the clear stickers?

You will never own the watch till you truly own it, right?

Anyway, congrats and enjoy your Datejust41.

Price is fair I think, 6.900 Pounds
Hopefully a lot cheaper with the 20% VAT off

This thread is 12 months old guys.

I think the stickers would have fallen off on their own by now.

Beautiful watch and huge congratulations it looks great on you.

Very similar to my own travel back story to Saudi last Sunday from Heathrow Terminal 4. I stopped by the Rolex Tax Free- Watches of Switzerland (as per usual) and the lady noticed my Sub 116610LV and she asked if there was anything that I was looking for, I said a black Sub no date, she smiled and shook her head. She then asked if I had a purchase history with them, unfortunately I had to tell her that i don't as I live in Saudi Arabia and all my Rolex purchases are made there through the KSA sole AD Sheik Mohammed Attar & Sons. She confessed that even if they had a sports watch it would never be on display even at the airport. I said do you get many of my watch, or indeed Daytonas or Sky dwellers. She said a few but very rare, Daytonas drip feed through but she said in her 2 years at Heathrow she had never seen a Blue Skydweller - confirms my thoughts that this is probably the hardest Rolex to acquire right now.

She did then say... but 2 hours ago I had this DJ Wimbledon TT come in and as you're a resident in KSA she could do all the paperwork right now and you can walk away with it for GBP7,700. a great price. She held it back for me until my flight but in the end, despite being very tempted, I let it go.

So pleased you took the plunge though, as it genuinely looks great on you.

Here is a photo of the one I was offered below with UK price in pounds.

Congrats! I usually don't even bother looking there any more as they never have anything interesting. Great find though.

Nice looking watch but not scarce, I see it regularly in shop windows. But I suppose you saved VAT by buying at LHR.
